I started my passion for art taking photography class in high school. Then I explored art class in collage and received a degree in Electronic Media of Arts at NIU.

Throughout college I became familiar with the Chicago artist community and was able to start decorative painting at Modern Masters after graduating.  Eventually I found my niche and started my own business painting children's rooms and restaurants. I helped design and painted over 20 restaurants in the Chicagoland area.  That lead me to the design,  creation and installation of mosaic tile art.  Over a 10 year span I installed over 18 Bar Loui Restaurants across the country.

In2001 my husband and I moved to Lake Geneva and started a family.  My home based studio allows us to produce small to large mosaic pieces.
